Good news! TerraIndex Field will be fully live from 1 January 2026. Here is why you will want to use it:
- Available on iOS, Windows and Android tablets
- Improved interface: user-friendly, with the familiar schematic view, made even better!
- The app was developed in close collaboration with fieldworkers, making it well suited to work in the field
- (Back by popular demand) Daily totals: a clear overview of work completed and samples taken
- Fast container scanning: now using the camera on any supported device
- Supports the new RDNAPTRANS: required in the Netherlands for elevation measurements
What does this mean for the current fieldwork app?
The current fieldwork app will no longer be technically maintained and cannot be used from 2 April 2026. This means you must switch to the new TerraIndex Field app before 2 April.
I cannot wait until 1 January! Can I start now?
Yes! TerraIndex Field is currently in beta testing and is already being used by several companies. Everything works, although small issues may still arise. Do not work on the same project in both apps at the same time.
More and more companies are already working entirely with Field. Do you take elevation measurements? Switching is necessary before 1 December, because the old RDNAPTRANS service is being phased out.
