Highlights
This period mainly brings improvements that make day-to-day work more stable, faster and easier to check: better exports, clearer validation, more reliable fieldwork and fewer repetitive actions.
Field: more reliable work on tablets
Field has become more reliable when working online and offline. The app now handles changes in connectivity better and recovers more safely if a screen freezes after an update. If this cannot be resolved automatically, the user sees a clearer fallback screen. Photos on iPad are now rotated correctly, regardless of the device on which they were taken. Daily totals also now include an option to show the daily total for all created items.
Archaeology: new fields and easier data entry
In Archaeology, entering text fields on Windows tablets has been made easier by disabling autocomplete. Archaeology also sends backups again. Users can add involved companies and contact details, including the contact type. More space is also available when the on-screen keyboard appears, and the Archis registration date field has been added.
Archaeology Office: SIKB delivery file and validation results
Archaeology Office has taken an important step in preparing project data for submission according to SIKB 0102. Users can export project data to a SIKB 0102 delivery file and view validation results more clearly before submission. Validation messages are also easier to understand, as they are displayed in Dutch. This helps users check their data earlier and avoid corrections during export. Finally, the period fields have been combined, making them easier to view in the table view.
